Ordinations of women deacons and priests by Roman Catholic women bishops in full Apostolic Succession in PIttsburgh on July 31, 2006 Dr. Bridget Mary Meehan a Sister for Christian Community, was one of eight women ordained a Roman Catholic priest in Pittsburgh, PA. on July 31, 2006.

Bridget Mary Meehan , a Sister for Christian Community, was ordained a Roman Catholic priest on July 31st, 2006 in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Meehan was one of eight women ordained by three women bishops who had been ordained by Roman Catholic male bishops in full Apostolic Succession and in full communion with the pope. These ordinations are valid and historic, the first in the United States.

Bridget Mary Meehan, a Sister of Christian Community, who holds a Doctorate in Ministry from Virginia Theological Seminary was ordained a Roman Catholic Womanpriest on July 31, 2006 in Pittsburgh, PA.

Dr. Bridget Mary Meehan, the show's producer aims "to build bridges of understanding among people of diverse religious backgrounds and spiritual perspectives." This will help people develop the global vision needed for the 21st Century.
